Meet Our Leadership Team

Senior Leadership:

Brian Carlson - Lead Pastor

A teacher by trade, Brian began working at Antioch Beverly full time in 2015 after 10 years of teaching math in public schools on the North Shore. Brian grew up in Connecticut, but has spent all of his adult life in Massachusetts, where he moved to study, first at Gordon College and later at Gordon Conwell.

Brian and his wife, Jade, have three kids. They love exploring the outdoors together and are working on visiting all of the Trustees of the Reservations properties in Massachusetts, and they adore the North Shore. Brian is a lover of sports, a novice bird watcher, and a foodie wannabe. His passion is to see people encounter Jesus and have their worlds transformed by his love.

Our Elders:

Elizabeth Ball

Born here in Beverly, Liz is passionate about the local Church and fostering a community that is transformed through knowledge of God’s love, word, character, and power. Liz studied art, was an outdoor ed facilitator, worked in human resources, and received her masters in organizational psychology. She currently works for a Boston based consulting firm that helps harness the collective intelligence within organizations to design their own solutions for the future. Liz loves to disciple women and seeing God weave together our interests and use them to impact the world.

In all she does, she desires to "to love the LORD our God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all her heart and soul,” Joshua 22:5.

Katie Hanchett

Katie and her husband, Ben, started attending Antioch Beverly shortly after having their first child and moving back up to the North Shore. She fell in love with the North Shore while attending Gordon College and was excited to move up to Ipswich after spending a few years in the Boston area.

They since have added a couple more to the mix and have three children: Micah, Chloe, and Nathaniel. When she's not home with her kids, Katie enjoys serving on the worship team and in the nursery, as well as working part-time as a Spanish tutor and piano teacher.
