Lifegroups (1)

Many of our Lifegroups Have Gone Virtual!:

In this season it is ever important to remain connected. First in our walk with God and asking ourselves how we are engaging with Him daily, and second with each other (our families, friends, neighbors). Please visit our Lifegroups Page for a list of our Lifegroups and for more information.

Support For DCF Families:

As a part of the Fostering Hope Network of churches, Antioch Beverly has been asked to join a growing number of church communities in eastern Massachusetts who are working toward standing in the gap for DCF-served families and youth (foster, kinship, intact families and youth in congregate care settings) who are experiencing job loss and crisis in this time.

Some needs we’ve had so far are for diapers, wipes, formula and food.  It’s likely we’ll need people to shop online or in stores, deliver items to families or agencies or provide financial gifts. If you are willing to be part of this growing effort please make sure you email Travis Shultz. You will be contacted as needs arise for specific ways to help.

If you want to do something right away, you can give to our Covid-19 Relief Fund (Remember to select Covid-19 Relief in the "Fund" section). Your donation will allow us to be prepared to respond to needs as they arise. Or you can purchase and deliver any of these supplies to Travis Shultz:

· Diapers, all sizes
· Baby Wipes
· Grocery gift cards - any denomination, any local store will help immensely (Market Basket, Stop & Shop, Target, Costco, Etc.)

If you’d prefer, you can also order via Amazon or Target and have the supplies be delivered to Travis Shultz directly. Just let him know if you are planning to do this and he will provide you with his address.

Please reach out to Travis with any questions.

Foster Care Information

Who are the waiting kids?

Attend an Information Session:

You are invited to attend an information session to learn more about Foster Care and Fostering to Adopt. DCF serves children of all ages from infants to adolescents, from every community, who need a home.

  • You can be single, married, partnered, divorced; or widowed.
  • You can rent or own a home.
  • Time spent with you in a stable and secure environment gives a child a chance to heal
  • The rewards of providing daily care, guidance and acceptance to a child are immeasurable

If you’ve ever thought about opening your home to a child in need, this is the perfect opportunity to talk with staff from the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and foster parents.
